It's funny how so much of what is currently hailed as innovative is unashamedly retrogressive. The blogosphere and press have all co-signed some kind of West Coast musical revolution and it's tempting to dig in your heels in resistance. But sometimes it pays to let your guard down and just enjoy something, however old school it feels.
